About me
I am have worked in the field of whistleblowing law and practice for the past 13 years and I am currently coordinating a network of whistleblowing NGOs around the world. There are many civil society organisations who have worked hard to make it easier for those who come across wrongdoing or serious risk in their workplace to be able to speak up safely and effectively in their different jurisdictions. They are now coming together to support one another across borders, share good practice and legal expertise, and work with newcomers to the field. This is an important and exciting time for whistleblowing practitioners. It is vital that grassroots domestic expertise feeds in to the international debates around whistleblowig to help ensure that reforms reinforce democratic accountability but also that grass roots support for whistleblowers who are not in the public eye but who protect us all in our daily lives is strengthened.
