About me
Dominika Ziętara - Advisor to the Minister of Justice for legal and political affairs, Director of the Office of Senator Adam Bodnar. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw. At the same university she also studied Journalism and Media Studies with a specialization in PR and media marketing and Applied Sociology and Social Anthropology. She gained her professional experience by working in the Ombudsman's Office, as well as in one of Warsaw's prestigious law firms, where she focused on cases involving freedom of speech and access to information, as well as the protection of personal rights and intellectual property law.
She specializes in constitutional law and human rights, on which she also focuses academically. She is particularly close to issues of judicial independence, protection of the rule of law and sociology of law. In her work she applies an interdisciplinary approach to law, which she combines with her knowledge of political sciences, sociology and media studies. With her experience in the public relations and communications industry, she also advises on communication and image issues.
